Overview

Situated in the eastern part of the Czech Republic, the historical city of Pardubice boasts a rich cultural heritage and a vibrant urban landscape. With a population exceeding 90,000 residents, Pardubice faces the challenge of managing urban mobility and parking effectively. In response to this challenge, the city embarked on a groundbreaking project to modernize its parking infrastructure. This initiative involved the deployment of a comprehensive Smart Parking System, supplied by our company, to revolutionize parking management and enhance the overall urban experience.

Project Scope

The contract awarded to our company encompassed the supply and installation of a Unified Central Parking Management Platform (CPMP) alongside an advanced on-street parking system. This system was designed to streamline parking operations and offer a seamless experience for users. The key components of the project included:

  • 3,421 Fleximodo – Digital Parking IoT Sensors – IoT Parking Sensors STANDARD: These wireless, on-street parking sensors were installed to detect the presence of vehicles in parking spots, providing real-time data to both the management platform and the citizen’s mobile app.
  • Unified Central Parking Management Platform – The CityPortal: A robust platform that integrates various functionalities such as user management, online payments and e-wallets, enforcement and fines management, and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
  • Citizen’s Mobile App – The ParkingAround: An intuitive application designed to help users find available parking spots, make payments, manage their accounts, and receive notifications about parking regulations and their parking status.
